Clinical
This is an over-the-counter combination kit containing two separate daytime and nighttime formulas for cold and flu symptoms. The daytime product contains acetaminophen (a pain reliever and fever reducer), dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant), and phenylephrine (a decongestant). The nighttime formula adds doxylamine succinate, a sleep aid antihistamine. Together, these ingredients are typically used to temporarily relieve multiple cold and flu symptoms including aches, fever, cough, nasal congestion, and to promote rest during nighttime symptoms.
