It contains acetaminophen, which is typically used to reduce pain and fever, combined with dextromethorphan, which is commonly used to suppress cough. The formula also includes phenylephrine, typically used as a nasal decongestant to relieve sinus congestion, and doxylamine, which functions as a first-generation antihistamine often used for allergy symptoms. This product is marketed under FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for multi-symptom cold and allergy relief formulas.
