Clinical
CVS Lubricant Eye Drops is an over-the-counter eye drop solution containing carboxymethylcellulose sodium, a lubricating agent. This product is typically used to help relieve dryness and irritation of the eye surface by providing moisture and a protective film. It is marketed under FDA's OTC monograph rules for lubricating eye drops, which means it follows established safety and ingredient standards for this category rather than undergoing individual FDA approval.
