Clinical
- It's used to relieve symptoms of depression. It tends to work best for endogenous depression. Your prescriber can explain why it was chosen for you.
- You may feel sleepy before your mood improves. Full benefit can take as long as 30 days. Keep taking it as directed and keep in touch with your prescriber.
- It's taken by mouth, and your prescriber may split the dose or have you take it at bedtime. It can make you drowsy, so bedtime dosing is common. Follow your label directions.
