💊 About Levetiracetam Injection DRUG GUIDE
Levetiracetam Injection is used to treat three types of seizures.
It treats partial-onset seizures (seizures that start in one area of the brain) in patients 1 month of age and older.
It is also used alongside other seizure medicines to treat myoclonic seizures (sudden, brief muscle jerks) in patients 12 years and older with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy, and to treat primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures (grand mal seizures) in patients 6 years and older with idiopathic generalized epilepsy.Levetiracetam Injection is for intravenous (IV) use only and is intended as a temporary alternative when a patient cannot take oral levetiracetam.
