Azacitidine Injection treats myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) in adults.

MDS is a group of bone marrow disorders in which the marrow does not make healthy blood cells.It is used for these subtypes: refractory anemia (RA) or refractory anemia with ringed sideroblasts (if there is low neutrophils, low platelets, or a need for transfusions), refractory anemia with excess blasts (RAEB), RAEB in transformation (RAEB-T), and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMMoL).

Vidaza also carries dosing instructions for children with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML).
