Here's the simple version: methyltestosterone (Oreton, Android 5) is already a form of testosterone. The supplement 4-androsterone is a prohormone, which means your body can turn it into testosterone and similar androgens. So if you take both, you're essentially stacking androgen on top of androgen. They don't block or speed up each other so much as add together, and that's the concern.
Piling on extra androgens can worsen the usual testosterone-type side effects: mood swings or irritability, acne, swelling from fluid retention, unfavorable cholesterol shifts, and added strain on the liver and heart. This is a theoretical, pharmacology-based caution rather than something proven in studies, but it makes good sense to be careful. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
