TESTOSTERONE
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here is the simple version: 4-androsterone is a prohormone, which means your body tries to turn it into testosterone and similar hormones. Since you are already taking testosterone undecanoate (brands like Jatenzo, Aveed, or Kyzatrex) to bring your levels up, adding this supplement is basically piling testosterone on top of testosterone. That can push your androgen levels too high.
When that happens, you may see the kind of side effects testosterone is already known for: mood swings or irritability, a higher red blood cell count, rising blood pressure, swelling, acne, and added strain on the liver and cholesterol. This concern is theoretical, based on how these hormones behave rather than hard studies, but it is reasonable. Please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before mixing the two, and keep up with your lab checks.

4-Androsterone (sometimes called 4-DHEA) is a lab-made prohormone marketed to bodybuilders as a way to raise testosterone and build muscle, but human studies are very limited and it carries real risks like liver strain, hormone imbalance, and cholesterol changes. Its legal status is uncertain in many places, and it may cause a positive result on drug tests. We do not recommend it without close medical supervision, and it should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

What Is Testosterone Injection Used For?
Brand names: Andriol, Aveed, Jatenzo, Kyzatrex
Testosterone injection is primarily used in men whose bodies do not produce enough testosterone on their own — a condition called hypogonadism. This includes primary hypogonadism (a problem with the testicles themselves, such as from injury, infection, or surgery) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (caused by problems in the brain's hormone signaling from the hypothalamus or pituitary gland). It is also used to stimulate puberty in carefully selected adolescent males with clearly delayed puberty who have not responded to other support.
Testosterone Enanthate Injection is also approved for use in women with advanced, inoperable metastatic breast cancer (specifically skeletal metastases) who are one to five years past menopause, or in premenopausal women with hormone-responsive breast cancer who have had their ovaries removed. This use should be directed by an oncologist. Aveed (testosterone undecanoate) is specifically approved for male hypogonadism only.
