Here's the gist: insulin already lowers your blood sugar, and Artemisia herba-alba may push it down too. Stack the two together and your sugar could drop lower than you expect. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded. Insulin works directly in your body, so this isn't about your liver breaking a drug down, it's simply two blood-sugar-lowering effects adding up.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. It's theoretical, based mostly on animal and lab studies, not solid human trials. So I'm not raising alarms. If you're set on trying this herb, check in with your doctor or pharmacist first and keep an eye on your glucose readings so any dips get caught early.
