Here's the simple version: Trulicity (dulaglutide) already works to bring your blood sugar down. Some early lab and animal studies hint that Artemisia herba-alba may also nudge blood sugar lower. Put the two together and, in theory, you could end up lower than intended, which is what we call hypoglycemia.

I want to be honest about the strength of this. It's based on pharmacology and weak research, not solid human studies, so it may not amount to much for most people. Still, watch for the usual low-sugar signs: shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, or confusion. Trulicity by itself rarely causes lows, but adding extra blood-sugar lowerers can change that. Before starting this herb, please check in with your pharmacist or doctor first.

What Is Dulaglutide Injection Used For?

Brand name: Trulicity

Trulicity (dulaglutide) injection is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not for type 1 diabetes.

Trulicity is also used in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors to lower the risk of major heart events — specifically cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke.
