Dulaglutide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Agaricus Mushroom interacts with.

Theoretically, taking agaricus mushroom with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
In one clinical study in patients with type 2 diabetes who are stabilized on conventional oral hypoglycemic agents, 3 of 29 patients taking an agaricus mushroom extract 500 mg three times daily for 12 weeks reported hypoglycemia, compared to one of 29 patients in the placebo group.

Here's the simple version: Agaricus mushroom may have a mild blood sugar lowering effect of its own. When you pair that with Trulicity (dulaglutide), which is already working to bring your blood sugar down, the two together could in theory push your sugar a little too low. Signs to watch for include shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, confusion, or feeling unusually hungry.

I want to be honest about how shaky this evidence is. It's mostly theoretical, based on how the mushroom behaves, plus one small study where a few people on diabetes pills reported low sugar. On its own, dulaglutide rarely causes hypoglycemia. Still, if you'd like to try Agaricus, check with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on your blood sugar readings.

What Is Dulaglutide Injection Used For?

Brand name: Trulicity

Trulicity (dulaglutide) injection is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not for type 1 diabetes.

Trulicity is also used in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors to lower the risk of major heart events — specifically cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke.
