Troglitazone falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Agaricus Mushroom interacts with.

Theoretically, taking agaricus mushroom with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
In one clinical study in patients with type 2 diabetes who are stabilized on conventional oral hypoglycemic agents, 3 of 29 patients taking an agaricus mushroom extract 500 mg three times daily for 12 weeks reported hypoglycemia, compared to one of 29 patients in the placebo group.

Here's the gist for Troglitazone, which is a diabetes medicine that helps your body use insulin more effectively to lower blood sugar. The thinking is that Agaricus mushroom may have its own mild blood-sugar-lowering effect. So if you pair it with Troglitazone, the two could add up and push your sugar a little too low.

I want to be honest about how solid this is: it's mostly theoretical, based on how the mushroom seems to work, plus one small study where a few people reported low blood sugar. If your levels do drop, you might feel shaky, sweaty, dizzy, or unusually tired. This is a setup worth watching, not panicking over. Before adding the supplement, check with your pharmacist or doctor, and keep an eye on your home readings.
