Here's the basic idea with Ilumya (tildrakizumab). This injection works by quieting one specific part of your immune system (a signal called IL-23) to calm the red, scaly plaques of psoriasis. Astragalus, on the other hand, is often taken to rev the immune system up. So in theory they pull in opposite directions, and astragalus could chip away at how well your psoriasis treatment works, meaning your skin plaques might not clear as nicely.

I want to be honest with you though: this concern comes from lab and animal research, not from real people taking the two together, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Food-amount use is unlikely to matter much more than concentrated supplement capsules. Before adding astragalus, just run it by your dermatologist or pharmacist so you stay on the same page.
