Here's the thing about NexoBrid (anacaulase-bcdb): it's an enzyme gel made from bromelain that doctors apply directly to severe burns to dissolve away dead tissue. Because it breaks down proteins in the wound bed, it can cause some local oozing or bleeding right where it's used. Buchu, on the other hand, is thought to have a mild blood-thinning (antiplatelet) effect, though that idea comes mostly from old anecdotal reports, not solid studies.

So in theory, pairing the two could add up to a little more bleeding at the treated burn area. This is a low-confidence, theoretical concern, and your burn team is watching that wound closely anyway. Still, it's worth mentioning any supplement like buchu to your doctor or pharmacist before treatment.
