Here's the idea behind this pairing. Galantamine ER (Razadyne ER) treats Alzheimer's symptoms by blocking acetylcholinesterase, the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine, so more of that brain chemical sticks around. Lab and animal studies hint that DMSO may slow that same enzyme. If both nudge in the same direction, you could in theory get a stronger cholinergic effect, meaning more nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, dizziness, or a slower heart rate.

I want to be honest though: this is theoretical, based on test-tube and animal data, not real-world reports. It's a sensible heads-up, not a reason to panic. Before using any DMSO product (especially on broken skin or industrial grade), check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
