Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Ombitasvir, Paritaprevir Ritonavir
Ombitasvir, Paritaprevir Ritonavir falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Eucalyptus interacts with.
In vitro research suggests that eucalyptus oil might inhibit CYP3A4, although this has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with Technivie (ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir). Part of this combo, paritaprevir, is processed by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In fact, the ritonavir piece is included on purpose to slow that enzyme down and keep drug levels up. Lab studies hint that eucalyptus oil might also block CYP3A4, which could nudge these drug levels a bit higher.
If that happened, you could see more of the usual side effects like fatigue, nausea, itching, or trouble sleeping. But I want to be honest with you: this is theoretical, based only on test-tube research, and has never been shown in real people. Inhaling vapor rubs or lozenges almost certainly won't matter. Still, since this medicine treats hepatitis C and is tough on the liver, please run any eucalyptus product by your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ombitasvir, Paritaprevir Ritonavir page
“Technivie (ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir) treats hepatitis C, and because a cure depends on holding steady drug levels for the whole course, this list warrants genuine care. Most of the 154 ingredients on file touch the CYP3A4 enzyme pathway, meaning they can push the drug's blood levels up or down.”

About Ombitasvir, Paritaprevir, and Ritonavir
What Is Ombitasvir, Paritaprevir, and Ritonavir Used For?
Brand name: Technivie
-
The combination of ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir is usually used in combination with ribavirin (Copegus, Rebetol), but sometimes it is used alone to treat a certain type of chronic (long-term) hepatitis C infection (swelling of the liver caused by a virus). Ombitasvir is a hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5A inhibitor. It works by stopping the virus that causes hepatitis C from spreading inside the body. Paritaprevir is a protease inhibitor. It works by decreasing the amount of HCV in the body. Ritonavir is a protease inhibitor. It helps to increase the amount of paritaprevir in the body so that the medication will have a greater effect. It is not known if ombitasvir, paritaprevir, or ritonavir prevent the spread of hepatitis C to other people.
