Tadalafil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Feverfew interacts with.

Theoretically, feverfew might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Laboratory research shows that feverfew might inhibit CYP3A4. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist: your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to clear tadalafil (Cialis). In lab and animal studies, feverfew appears to slow that enzyme down a bit. If that held true in people, tadalafil could hang around longer and build up, which might mean stronger effects and a higher chance of its usual side effects, like headache, flushing, a stuffy nose, back pain, indigestion, or feeling lightheaded from a drop in blood pressure.

The important part: this has only been seen in test-tube research, never confirmed in actual patients, so it's theoretical and may not matter at all. An occasional cup of feverfew tea is unlikely to be an issue, but concentrated supplement doses are less predictable. Just check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them.

About Tadalafil

What Is Tadalafil Used For?

Brand names: Cialis, Tadliq

Tadalafil tablets (including Cialis and generic tadalafil) are used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH — an enlarged prostate), or both conditions together. When used with the drug finasteride to start BPH treatment, this combination is recommended for up to 26 weeks.

Adcirca, Alyq (tablets), and Tadliq (oral suspension) are indicated specifically for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH — high blood pressure in the lungs), to improve the ability to exercise.
