Mometasone, formoterol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Fucus Vesiculosus interacts with.
In vitro research shows that fucoidan, a constituent of Fucus vesiculosus, both inhibits and induces CYP2D6. This interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the honest picture with bladderwrack and your Zenhale inhaler (mometasone plus formoterol). The concern on file is that a compound in bladderwrack called fucoidan might nudge a liver enzyme called CYP2D6, which can play a small role in clearing formoterol. The catch is this comes only from lab dish studies, and the seaweed seemed to both speed up and slow down that enzyme, so we can't even say which direction it would go in a real person. It has never actually been reported in people.
On top of that, your inhaler is breathed into the lungs, so very little reaches your bloodstream to begin with. I'd rate this as low concern. The bigger reason to check with your doctor before bladderwrack is its iodine load and your thyroid.

Let me put your mind at ease a bit here. Zenhale is an inhaler that combines two medicines: mometasone (a steroid that calms airway swelling) and formoterol (a long-acting reliever that opens the airways). The concern on file is that a compound in bladderwrack (fucoidan) might slow down a liver enzyme called CYP2C9, which could in theory let a little more of the medicine linger in your body. If that happened, you might notice more of the usual side effects, like a fast or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, shakiness, or a headache.
That said, this is purely lab-dish research, not anything seen in real people, and it's rated minor. Most of an inhaler stays in your lungs, so the effect is likely tiny. Still, with bladderwrack's iodine and your thyroid in mind, I'd run it past your pharmacist before starting it.

In vitro research shows that fucoidan, a constituent of Fucus vesiculosus, inhibits CYP3A4. This interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Zenhale combines two medicines you breathe in: mometasone (an inhaled steroid) and formoterol (a long-acting airway opener). Both are partly broken down by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In a test-tube study, fucoidan from bladderwrack slowed that same enzyme down. In theory, that could let a bit more of your inhaler's medicine linger in your body.
Here's the honest part: this has only been seen in the lab, never in real people, and it's rated a minor, possible interaction. If it did matter at all, you might notice slightly more steroid effects or formoterol jitters like a faster heartbeat, shaky hands, or feeling wired. It's unlikely to be a problem, but since bladderwrack can also upset your thyroid, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist before starting it.

Fucus vesiculosus (bladderwrack) is a brown seaweed rich in iodine that has been used traditionally for thyroid concerns, weight, and skin. There is little solid human evidence to support most of these uses, and its high and variable iodine content can actually harm the thyroid.
