    “Orally, glucomannan can cause gastrointestinal disturbances, including abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, nausea, and vomiting, especially when taken in doses of more than 3 grams daily. Glucomannan is a soluble fiber from the konjac root that swells into a gel in your stomach, which may help with mild weight loss, constipation, and modestly lowering cholesterol. It is generally well tolerated when taken with plenty of water, but it must be taken carefully because it can swell and cause choking or blockage if not swallowed properly. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before starting it, especially if you have a health condition or take medicines.

About Ceftolozane and Tazobactam Injection

What Is Ceftolozane and Tazobactam Injection Used For?

Brand name: Zerbaxa

Zerbaxa (ceftolozane and tazobactam) is used to treat three types of serious bacterial infections in adults and children born at least 32 weeks gestational age. For complicated intra-abdominal infections (serious infections inside the belly), Zerbaxa is always given alongside another antibiotic called metronidazole. It also treats complicated urinary tract infections, including kidney infections (pyelonephritis).

Zerbaxa is also approved to treat hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia and ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia — lung infections that develop in the hospital or while a patient is on a breathing machine. It works only against specific bacteria confirmed or strongly suspected to be causing the infection.
