Maprotiline falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Greater Celandine interacts with.

Research in vitro shows that chelidonine, a constituent of greater celandine, inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) enzyme activity. Theoretically, greater celandine might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 include amitriptyline (Elavil), clozapine (Clozaril), codeine, desipramine (Norpramin), donepezil (Aricept), fentanyl (Duragesic), flecainide (Tambocor), fluoxetine (Prozac), meperidine (Demerol), methadone (Dolophine), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL), olanzapine (Zyprexa), ondansetron (Zofran), tramadol (Ultram), trazodone (Desyrel), and many others.

Here's the gist for maprotiline (Ludiomil): your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP2D6 to break this medication down and clear it. Lab studies suggest one of greater celandine's compounds, chelidonine, can slow that same enzyme down. If that happens, maprotiline could build up in your system more than expected, which may mean stronger effects and more side effects like heavy drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, a faster heartbeat, or trouble urinating.

I want to be honest about the evidence here. This concern comes only from test-tube research, not real people, so it's theoretical. Still, greater celandine has been tied to serious liver injury, so I'd skip it and check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining anything.
