Here's the thing about boric acid: most people use it as a vaginal suppository or an ointment, not as something you swallow. Guar gum's fiber gel only affects medicines that are taken by mouth, so if you're using boric acid the usual way (down below or on the skin), guar gum won't touch it at all.

If for some reason you are taking an oral product, that gel can bind to and slow the absorption of things passing through your gut, which could make less of it get into your system. The simple fix is timing. Take your medicine first, then wait about 30 to 60 minutes before your guar gum. When in doubt, run your specific routine by your pharmacist so you're spacing things correctly.
