It's given as an injection into a vein, almost always in a hospital or emergency setting to reverse the effects of sedatives like benzodiazepines. The guar gum concern on file is about oral drugs, where the fiber gel can grab onto medicine in your gut and slow or reduce how much gets absorbed.

Since flumazenil goes straight into the bloodstream and skips the digestive tract entirely, guar gum has no chance to interfere with it.
