European Mandrake + Flumazenil
Flumazenil brand names: Romazicon, Anexate.
European Mandrake has a moderate interaction with Flumazenil. Theoretically, concurrent use might increase absorption of some drugs because of inhibited gastrointestinal (GI) motility caused by European mandrake.

ORAL DRUGS
Why this applies to Flumazenil
Flumazenil falls under ORAL DRUGS — the group European Mandrake interacts with.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
First things first: European mandrake is genuinely toxic, and I'd urge you not to take it at all. But here's the specific concern with flumazenil (Romazicon). Mandrake's tropane alkaloids slow down how your gut moves things along. When the gut moves more slowly, certain oral drugs can sit there longer and get absorbed more fully, which can raise the amount that reaches your bloodstream.
Now, in real life flumazenil is almost always given as an injection in a hospital or emergency setting to reverse sedation, so a slow gut usually isn't a factor. This interaction is also theoretical, based on pharmacology rather than real cases. Still, please run any mandrake use by your doctor or pharmacist first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Flumazenil page
“For anyone given flumazenil (Romazicon), the supplement to understand first is activated charcoal, the only major-rated entry of the 23 on file, because charcoal can pull down the levels of many medicines even when they are not swallowed. Flumazenil is an emergency drug, delivered by IV to reverse benzodiazepine sedation, and I would t…”
