Niraparib, Abiraterone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Guggul interacts with.

Theoretically, guggul might reduce the effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that guggul constituents known as guggulsterones can induce CYP3A4.

Akeega is a combination of niraparib and abiraterone used to treat certain advanced prostate cancers. Abiraterone in particular is partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab (test tube) studies, the guggulsterones in guggul seem to speed up that enzyme. If that happens in people, your body could break down the medication faster, which might leave less of it working against the cancer.

I want to be honest that this is only theoretical, based on lab research, not real patient studies, so we don't know how big the effect truly is. But because this is a serious cancer treatment where full potency matters, I wouldn't take chances. Please check with your oncologist or pharmacist before adding guggul.
