Here's the concern with pairing these two: oral ketoconazole is already well known for being tough on the liver. It carries a serious warning about liver injury, which is one big reason doctors only reach for it when other antifungals won't work. Ligandrol (LGD-4033) has also been tied to liver damage in case reports. Putting two things that can stress the liver together may add up and raise your risk.

This isn't about one changing the other's blood levels. It's simply two liver stressors at once. The evidence here is mostly anecdotal, so it's a real but not proven worry. Warning signs would be yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, or unusual tiredness. Honestly, Ligandrol isn't an approved supplement and isn't worth the gamble. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.

What Is Ketoconazole Used For?

Brand name: Nizoral

Ketoconazole 2% shampoo and foam are used to treat tinea versicolor (also called pityriasis versicolor) — a fungal infection caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare (also known as Malassezia furfur), a yeast that naturally lives on the skin.

This infection creates light or dark patches, most often on the trunk, neck, arms, and upper thighs. Even after the fungus is cleared, those skin patches may take months to return to their normal color — that's normal, and depends on your skin type and sun exposure. Tinea versicolor can also come back, since the fungus lives on healthy skin even when there's no active infection.
