Here's the simple version: both of these can be tough on your liver, and putting them together may add up. Mipomersen (Kynamro) is already known to raise liver enzymes and can cause fat to build up in the liver, which is why people on it get regular blood tests to watch their liver. Ligandrol, a SARM that isn't approved or regulated, has been tied in real case reports to liver injury.

So the worry is additive stress on the liver, possibly showing up as fatigue, nausea, belly pain, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin or eyes. To be honest, this is based on weak, anecdotal evidence, not solid studies. Still, since Ligandrol carries its own liver risks, I'd strongly suggest talking with your doctor or pharmacist before mixing the two.

About Mipomersen Injection

What Is Mipomersen Injection Used For?

Brand name: Kynamro

  • Mipomersen injection is used to decrease levels of cholesterol and other fatty substances in the blood in people who have homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH; a rare inherited condition that causes very high levels of cholesterol in the blood, increasing the risk of serious heart disease). Some people with HoFH may be treated with LDL apheresis (a procedure that removes LDL from the blood), but mipomersen injection should not be used along with this treatment. Mipomersen injection should not be used to decrease cholesterol levels in people who do not have HoFH. Mipomersen injection is in a class of medications called antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) inhibitors. It works by preventing certain fatty substances from forming in the body.
