Levomilnacipran falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Lime interacts with.

Animal research shows that phenolics in lime juice inhibit cytochrome P450 3A4. This has been demonstrated in rats treated with sildenafil, a CYP3A4 substrate, and high doses of lime juice.

Your body clears levomilnacipran (Fetzima) using a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab and animal studies suggest that compounds in lime juice can slow this enzyme down a bit. If that happened in people, levomilnacipran could clear more slowly and build up slightly, which might mean a little more of its usual effects, things like a faster heart rate, higher blood pressure, sweating, nausea, or trouble sleeping.

Here's the reassuring part: this is based only on animal research using high doses of lime juice, not human studies. A squeeze of lime in your food or drink is very unlikely to cause a problem. I'd only be cautious with concentrated lime supplements or large daily amounts. If you use those, check in with your pharmacist or doctor first.
