At least one FDA label for a product containing Omeprazole, Sodium Bicarbonate says to take it on an empty stomach. Most supplements — Lobelia included — are taken with a meal, so the easy mistake is swallowing both together at breakfast. Where that rule applies, keep Omeprazole, Sodium Bicarbonate on its own and move Lobelia to a meal later in the day.
