Here's the gist with this pair. Omeprazole (the active ingredient in Konvomep, paired with sodium bicarbonate as an antacid buffer) is cleared from your body mainly by a liver enzyme called CYP2C19. Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil can gently slow that same enzyme down. If it's working slower, omeprazole may clear out a bit more slowly and build up.

In real terms, that could mean slightly stronger or longer-lasting effects from the omeprazole, possibly with side effects like headache, nausea, or stomach upset. The good news is this is theoretical, based only on lab data, not real-world reports, so it's not a reason to panic. Still, since adrafinil is unregulated and hard on the liver, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Here's the gist with this pair. Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and in lab studies modafinil seems to slow down a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. Omeprazole (the active part of Konvomep) is partly handled by that enzyme, so in theory its levels could creep up a bit. If that happened, you might notice a touch more of omeprazole's usual side effects, things like headache, nausea, or a bit of stomach upset.

I want to be straight with you though: this is a theoretical concern based only on test-tube work, not real patient reports, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since adrafinil is unregulated and can stress the liver, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.

Here's the simple version. Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil can gently speed up a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Your omeprazole (the acid-blocking part of Konvomep) is partly handled by that same enzyme. So in theory, adrafinil could nudge your body to clear omeprazole a little faster, which might make it work slightly less well. In real life that could show up as more heartburn, acid reflux, or stomach discomfort sneaking back.

I want to be honest with you: this is a theoretical concern based on how the drugs behave, not something proven in studies, and modafinil's effect on this enzyme is weak. Adrafinil is also unregulated and hard on the liver, so please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.
