Adrafinil + Bupropion
Bupropion brand names: Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, Zyban, Wellbutrin XL, Aplenzin, and others.
Adrafinil has a moderate interaction with Bupropion. Theoretically, adrafinil might reduce the levels and clinical effects of CYP2B6 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2B6 (CYP2B6) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Bupropion
Bupropion falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2B6 (CYP2B6) SUBSTRATES — the group Adrafinil interacts with.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to weakly induce CYP2B6 activity in vitro.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for Wellbutrin (bupropion) and adrafinil. Your body turns adrafinil into modafinil, and lab studies hint that modafinil can mildly speed up an enzyme called CYP2B6, which is the same one that processes bupropion. If that enzyme runs faster, your body could clear bupropion a little quicker, possibly making it less effective for your depression, seasonal mood symptoms, or quit-smoking efforts.
I want to be honest though: this is theoretical, based only on test-tube data, not real patient reports. It may never amount to anything noticeable. Still, if you take both and feel your mood slipping or cravings returning, that's worth mentioning. Adrafinil is also a stimulant precursor and bupropion can lower seizure threshold, so please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Bupropion page
“Bupropion (Wellbutrin, Zyban) deserves genuine care around supplements, and the entry to understand first is activated charcoal, the only major-rated interaction on this list. Charcoal and similar bulk products can soak up the drug in the gut and blunt its effect, so space them well apart from your dose.”

About Bupropion
What Is Bupropion Used For?
Brand names: Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, Zyban, Wellbutrin XL, Aplenzin, Forfivo XL
Bupropion is FDA-approved to treat major depressive disorder (MDD) — a form of clinical depression. Extended-release formulations (XL and hydrobromide versions, including Aplenzin) are also approved for the prevention of seasonal affective disorder (SAD), the pattern of depression that tends to arrive in autumn and winter.
Not all formulations share every indication. Aplenzin (bupropion hydrobromide extended-release) and bupropion hydrochloride extended-release tablets (XL) are indicated for both MDD and SAD. Bupropion hydrochloride extended-release tablets (SR) and bupropion hydrochloride immediate-release tablets are indicated for MDD only.
