Here's the thing about iloprost (Ventavis): besides opening up the blood vessels in your lungs, it also makes your platelets a little less sticky. Maritime pine bark seems to do the same thing in lab studies, so stacking the two together could, in theory, add up and make it a bit easier to bruise or bleed.

I want to be honest with you though, this concern is theoretical. It comes from how these two work on paper, not from cases of real harm. Still, watch for things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or cuts that are slow to stop. Concentrated supplement doses matter more here than any trace in food. Before you add Pycnogenol, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
