Here's the thinking on this one. Yosprala pairs aspirin with omeprazole, and that omeprazole half is there to calm down stomach acid so the aspirin is gentler on your stomach lining. There are some old, anecdotal reports that Northern Prickly Ash may actually increase stomach acid. If that's true, it could work against what the omeprazole is trying to do, meaning a bit less protection for your stomach.

I want to be honest that this is theoretical and based on weak, traditional reports, not solid studies, so it's a minor concern. It wouldn't change how the aspirin protects your heart. Still, if you take this combo for ulcer protection, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist before adding the herb.
