Naproxen Sodium falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Oregano interacts with.

Theoretically, oregano might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro research shows that aristolochic acid isolated from oregano leaves has antithrombin activity. It has also been reported that oregano oil inhibits arachidonic acid-induced, and ADP-induced, platelet aggregation.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: naproxen (the pain reliever in products like Midol Extended Relief) already nudges up your bleeding risk on its own, since it slows down platelets and can irritate the stomach lining. Concentrated oregano oil may have a mild blood-thinning effect of its own in lab studies, so stacking the two could add up to a slightly higher chance of bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach bleeding.

I want to be honest that this concern is theoretical, based on test-tube research rather than real patient reports. Sprinkling oregano on your food is no worry at all. If you're taking concentrated oregano oil supplements regularly alongside naproxen, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up so they can keep an eye on you.
