Polythiazide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Oregon Grape interacts with.

Theoretically, Oregon grape might increase the risk of hypotension when taken with antihypertensive drugs.
Animal research suggests that berberine, a constituent of Oregon grape, can have hypotensive effects. Also, an analysis of clinical evidence suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine (Norvasc) can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with taking amlodipine alone.

Polythiazide (Renese) is a thiazide-type water pill that lowers blood pressure by helping your body get rid of extra salt and fluid. Oregon grape contains berberine, which in animal studies and some early human data appears to gently nudge blood pressure down on its own. So the concern here is simple: two things pushing in the same direction could lower your pressure a little more than expected.

What that might feel like: dizziness, lightheadedness (especially when you stand up quickly), tiredness, or feeling faint. I want to be honest, though, this is mostly theoretical and based on lab and animal work, so it's not a strong or guaranteed effect. If you'd like to try Oregon grape, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on how you feel.
