STIMULANT DRUGS
Why this applies to Mephentermine
Mephentermine falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Panax Ginseng interacts with.
Panax ginseng has been shown to have stimulant effects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Mephentermine is a stimulant-type medicine that raises blood pressure by ramping up your sympathetic nervous system. The concern here is simple addition: Panax ginseng can have its own mild stimulant-like effects, so pairing it with mephentermine could stack on top of what the drug already does.
In real terms, that might mean a bit more of the usual stimulant effects, like a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, or a higher blood pressure than expected. I'll be honest with you though: this is a theoretical caution based on how the two work, not strong human study data, so it may not amount to much for many people. Still, since ginseng's effects are unpredictable, it's worth running it past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

“Mephentermine (Wyamine Sulfate) is itself a stimulant, an injectable medicine used to raise dangerously low blood pressure, so it follows that 44 of the 61 supplement and herbal ingredients on file here carry a stimulant push of their own. Ephedra sits among the five major-rated entries because it can drive heart rate and blood pressur…”
