Panax Ginseng + Trimipramine
Trimipramine brand names: Surmontil, Trimip, Rhotrimine, Tripramine, Trimp.
Panax Ginseng has a moderate interaction with Trimipramine. Theoretically, Panax ginseng has an additive effect with drugs that prolong the QT interval and potentially increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS
Why this applies to Trimipramine
Trimipramine falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Panax Ginseng interacts with.
Clinical research shows that short-term use of Panax ginseng can increase the QT interval. However, no changes in QT interval have been identified with prolonged use.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the connection worth knowing about. Trimipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant, and one of its known quirks is that it can stretch out something called the QT interval, which is a measure of your heart's electrical timing. Panax ginseng may do the same thing, at least with short-term use, so taking both together could add up and slightly raise the chance of an irregular heartbeat.
I want to keep this in perspective. The evidence here is mixed and partly theoretical, and longer-term ginseng use hasn't shown the same effect. Most healthy people won't run into trouble. Still, if you have a heart rhythm condition, low potassium or magnesium, or take other medicines that affect the heart, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining these. Don't change your trimipramine on your own.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Trimipramine page
“If you take trimipramine (Surmontil), a tricyclic antidepressant, read this list carefully. Nine of the 139 supplements and herbs on file are rated major, and most touch the heart: several, grapefruit among them, can stretch the QT interval, the heart's electrical reset time, and raise the risk of a dangerous rhythm.”

About Trimipramine
What Is Trimipramine Used For?
Brand names: Surmontil, Trimip, Rhotrimine, Tripramine, Trimp
Trimipramine capsules are indicated for the relief of symptoms of depression. Endogenous depression — depression that arises from within, rather than from an obvious outside cause — is more likely to respond to treatment than other types.
In clinical studies, trimipramine worked as well as imipramine in hospitalized patients with depression, and was comparable to amitriptyline in less severely depressed outpatients.
