Minizide combines two medicines: prazosin (which relaxes blood vessels to lower blood pressure) and polythiazide, a water pill. The water pill part is what matters here. Thiazide diuretics like polythiazide already tend to flush out potassium in your urine, which can leave levels too low. Senna works in your gut, and if you lean on it too often, it can cause you to lose potassium too. Stacking the two could push your potassium lower than it should be.

To be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how these work, not strong proof. Low potassium can show up as muscle cramps, weakness, fatigue, or an irregular heartbeat. Occasional senna for a few days is unlikely to be a big deal, but regular use is where I'd pause. Check with your pharmacist or doctor before using senna routinely.
