Here's the thing about pairing serrapeptase with Anacaulase-bcdb (NexoBrid): NexoBrid is itself an enzyme product. It's a gel made from bromelain-based proteins that's painted onto severe burns in a hospital setting to dissolve and remove dead, charred tissue. It isn't a pill you swallow, and it isn't really an anticoagulant in the usual sense, even though it lands in that drug grouping.

That said, our interaction note is purely theoretical and based on lab data, not real patient cases. Serrapeptase may have mild clot-dissolving (fibrinolytic) activity, so combining it with a tissue-removing treatment on an open burn wound could, in theory, add to oozing or bruising at the site. This is hospital-administered care, so let your burn team and pharmacist know about any supplement you take. Please don't start or stop anything on your own.
