Here's the thing to know about pairing serrapeptase with iloprost (Ventavis). Iloprost relaxes your blood vessels, but it also has a mild blood-thinning side, meaning it makes your platelets a little less sticky. Serrapeptase, at least in lab studies, may break down clots too. So when you stack them, the worry is simply additive: a bit more chance of bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or bleeding that's slow to stop.

I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how the two work, not on strong human studies, so don't panic. Still, since both can nudge bleeding in the same direction, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding serrapeptase. Let them know right away if you notice unusual bruising or bleeding.
