Here's the thing to keep in mind with piroxicam and serrapeptase. Piroxicam is an NSAID, and like other NSAIDs it can thin the blood a little and irritate the stomach lining, so on its own it already raises the chance of bruising and bleeding (think nosebleeds, easy bruising, or stomach upset). Serrapeptase is thought to break down clotting proteins, so stacking the two together might add up and make bleeding more likely.

I'll be honest with you: this concern is mostly theoretical, based on lab studies rather than real patients. Piroxicam is not a prodrug, so this isn't about activation. It's simply two things that can each nudge bleeding risk in the same direction. Watch for unusual bruising, dark stools, or bleeding that won't stop, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
