Here's the thing to keep in mind with this pair. Flibanserin (Addyi) already has a strong tendency to cause drowsiness, dizziness, and even fainting, which is why it's usually taken at bedtime. Skullcap is traditionally used to calm the nervous system, and lab and animal research hints it may add to that sleepy, foggy feeling. So this isn't about one changing how the other is broken down. It's more about two calming agents stacking on top of each other.

The evidence here is on the weaker side (mostly lab and animal data), so don't panic. But combining them could leave you more sedated, lightheaded, or unsteady than expected. Please run this by your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, and never adjust your Addyi on your own.

What Is Flibanserin Used For?

Brand name: Addyi

Addyi is approved to treat acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) — a condition where low sexual desire causes significant distress or relationship difficulty — in women under 65. "Acquired" means the low desire developed after a period of normal desire; "generalized" means it happens regardless of the situation or partner.

Addyi is not intended for use in men, and it is not a sexual performance enhancer. It is also not meant for HSDD that is caused by a medical condition, a psychiatric condition, relationship problems, or another medication.
