Torsemide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Tribulus interacts with.

Theoretically, taking tribulus with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research shows that tribulus can lower blood pressure by inhibiting angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). Tribulus has also demonstrated hypotensive effects in pre-hypertensive adults.

Here's the gist: Torsemide is a water pill that lowers blood pressure by pulling extra fluid and salt out through your urine. Tribulus, in animal studies and some early human research, seems to gently lower blood pressure too, possibly by blocking the ACE enzyme. So the worry is simple addition. Two things nudging your pressure down at once could push it lower than you want.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or wobbly when you stand up, especially since torsemide already makes you lose fluid. Keep in mind this is theoretical and based mostly on lab and animal data, so it's not a strong warning. Still, before adding Tribulus, check with your pharmacist or doctor, and don't change your torsemide on your own.

What Is Torsemide Used For?

Torsemide tablets are used to treat edema — excess fluid buildup causing swelling — associated with heart failure, renal disease, or hepatic disease. Removing that extra fluid can relieve swelling and make breathing easier.

Torsemide tablets are also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events, including strokes and heart attacks. It can be used alone or alongside other blood pressure medications.
