ABC White Grape Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking ABC White Grape against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
ABC White Grape contains 6 active ingredients: L-Glutamine, L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine, Beta-Alanine, and Citrulline Malate. The branched-chain amino acids (L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine) are three of the essential amino acids your muscles use during and after exercise.
L-Glutamine supports muscle recovery and immune function. Beta-Alanine and Citrulline Malate are additional amino acids that support physical performance and blood flow.
The powder also contains inactive ingredients—citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, sucralose, and acesulfame-K—which are common fillers and sweeteners in supplement powders.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
L-Glutamine is rated Effective for sickle cell disease, and Possibly Effective for HIV/AIDS-related wasting, postoperative recovery, and critical illness from trauma. Beta-Alanine is rated Possibly Effective for athletic performance and physical performance, though evidence is insufficient for age-related cognitive decline, COPD, cognitive function, and menopausal symptoms.
We don't hold effectiveness ratings for L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine, or Citrulline Malate, so the evidence for those ingredients isn't established in our data.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
L-Glutamine is generally well tolerated in healthy adults, though people with kidney or liver disease should use it only under medical supervision. The most common side effects are gastrointestinal—bloating, gas, nausea, diarrhea, and constipation—along with headache and musculoskeletal pain.
Dizziness and mania have been reported rarely. L-Glutamine is rated Likely Safe in pregnancy and lactation.
Beta-Alanine is generally well tolerated but commonly causes a harmless tingling sensation (paresthesia) on your skin, usually starting on the scalp within 20 minutes and lasting about an hour; this is dose-dependent and mild at lower doses. However, there isn't enough safety data for beta-alanine in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, so the data advises against it in those situations.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take anticonvulsant medications (seizure drugs), double-check with your pharmacist before starting this product. No other medication interactions are documented for the ingredients we could check.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product may work for athletic performance or muscle recovery in healthy adults, but check with your pharmacist if you take seizure medications or have kidney or liver disease. The tingling from beta-alanine is harmless but noticeable.
Pregnant or breastfeeding—talk to your doctor or pharmacist first, since safety data is limited for beta-alanine.
