HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Agmagen Fruit Punch by RSP
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
Agmagen Fruit Punch contains one active ingredient: agmatine (AgmaMAX). The remaining ingredients are inactive — citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, sucralose, silicon dioxide, and red dye #40 — which are fillers and flavor components used to make the powder.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for agmatine is sparse. In our data, effectiveness ratings for alcohol use disorder, Alzheimer disease, anxiety, athletic performance, autism spectrum disorder, and bipolar disorder are all listed as insufficient reliable evidence to rate.
That means there isn't solid research backing its use for these purposes yet.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Short-term use of agmatine appears generally well tolerated. The most common side effects reported in studies are diarrhea, indigestion (dyspepsia), and nausea — and a small number of trial participants experienced mild-to-moderate diarrhea and nausea within 2–3 days of starting treatment, which resolved once they stopped.
Long-term safety in humans hasn't been well studied, so use caution if you're thinking of taking this regularly. There isn't enough safety data to recommend agmatine during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using it if you're pregnant, planning pregnancy, or nursing.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check your blood pressure medications (antihypertensives) and diabetes medications (antidiabetes drugs) with your pharmacist before taking this product. Agmatine may lower blood pressure further and raise the risk of low blood sugar.

Agmagen Fruit Punch is a single-ingredient product with agmatine, an ingredient whose long-term safety and effectiveness are still being researched. If you take blood pressure or diabetes medications, you'll want to check with your pharmacist before adding this product — it may interact with both.
