HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Anytime Burn by Like A Pro Supplements
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
Anytime Burn contains 4 active ingredients. Acetyl-L-carnitine is an amino acid compound your body uses to convert fat into energy, particularly in muscle and brain cells.
AstraGin and MitoBurn support nutrient absorption and cellular energy production, respectively. Paradoxine comes from grains of paradise, a spice used traditionally in weight management formulas.
There are no inactive ingredients (fillers, binders, or capsule materials) listed for this product.
Does it work?
Not established
Acetyl-L-carnitine, the only ingredient with effectiveness data in our records, is rated possibly effective for age-related cognitive decline, Alzheimer's disease, alcohol use disorder, diabetic neuropathy, and depression. The other three ingredients — AstraGin, MitoBurn, and Paradoxine — have no established effectiveness ratings in the data we hold.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Acetyl-L-carnitine is generally well tolerated in the short term, but long-term safety is not fully established. The most common side effects are agitation, dry mouth, headache, insomnia, and reduced appetite; some people report a fishy odor to urine, breath, or sweat.
Gastrointestinal upset can occur but isn't more frequent than placebo in studies. Safety data for the other three ingredients is limited — Paradoxine's supplement safety isn't well studied, and we hold no safety information for AstraGin and MitoBurn beyond what's available for their use in supplements generally.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking Anytime Burn, check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take blood thinners (anticoagulants) like warfarin or acenocoumarol — acetyl-L-carnitine may strengthen their effect. Also confirm it's okay if you take serotonergic drugs such as antidepressants or migraine medications, or if you use thyroid hormone replacement.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product is aimed at supporting fat-to-energy conversion and may appeal to people interested in metabolic support, but the evidence for most of its ingredients is sparse or missing. If you take blood thinners, serotonergic drugs (including many antidepressants), or thyroid hormone, you should discuss this product with your doctor or pharmacist before starting.
Talk it over with them about whether it's right for you, especially given the limited long-term safety data.

HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Anytime Burn by Like A Pro Supplements contains acetyl-L-carnitine, which has documented interactions with several medication types.
The most serious concern is with blood thinners (anticoagulants) like warfarin and acenocoumarol — acetyl-L-carnitine may increase their blood-thinning effects, raising your risk of bleeding.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
It also interacts moderately with serotonergic drugs (medications that raise serotonin, including many antidepressants and migraine treatments) by potentially increasing serotonin-related side effects, including a rare but serious condition called serotonin syndrome. Acetyl-L-carnitine may also decrease how well thyroid hormone replacement works.
We could not check two other ingredients in this product — AstraGin and MitoBurn — because we hold no interaction data for them. The fourth ingredient, Paradoxine (grains of paradise), has been checked and shows no known interactions.
Altoghether, these interactions span 203 individual medications. Use the search tool on this page to check your exact medications before starting.

For each ingredient in Anytime Burn with known interactions, here are the types of medications it can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Acetyl L-Carnitine
Acenocoumarol (Sintrom)
Theoretically, acetyl-L-carnitine might increase the anticoagulant effects of acenocoumarol.
L-carnitine, the parent compound of acetyl-L-carnitine, might enhance the anticoagulant effects of acenocoumarol, an oral anticoagulant that is similar to warfarin, but shorter-acting. There are at least two case reports of INR elevation when L-carnitine was taken with acenocoumarol. In one case, a 33-year-old male with a previously stable INR had an elevated INR of 4.65 after L-carnitine was started and continued for 10 weeks. INR normalized after discontinuation of the L-carnitine-containing product. It is unclear if such an interaction would also occur with acetyl-L-carnitine.
Serotonergic Drugs
Theoretically, acetyl-L-carnitine might increase the risk of serotonergic side effects, including serotonin syndrome and cerebral vasoconstrictive disorders, when taken with serotonergic drugs.
Animal research shows that acetyl-L-carnitine can increase levels of serotonin in the brain.
Thyroid Hormone
Theoretically, acetyl-L-carnitine might decrease the effectiveness of thyroid hormone replacement.
L-carnitine appears to act as a peripheral thyroid hormone antagonist by inhibiting entry of thyroid hormone into the nucleus of cells. Taking L-carnitine also seems to diminish some of the symptoms of hyperthyroidism. It is unclear if such an interaction would occur with acetyl-L-carnitine.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Theoretically, acetyl-L-carnitine might increase the anticoagulant effects of warfarin.
L-carnitine, the parent compound of acetyl-L-carnitine, might increase the anticoagulant effects of acenocoumarol, a shorter-acting oral anticoagulant similar to warfarin. There is not enough information to know whether this interaction occurs with acetyl-L-carnitine and warfarin.
