Calcuim D-glucarate has been extensively studied by researchers at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, and its health benefits are largely attributed to inhibition of beta-glucuronidase; this activity supports the body's ability to detoxify estrogens, xenobiotics, and fat-soluble toxins.
