This formula contains 6 active ingredients: vitamin B12, Panax ginseng extract, royal jelly, American ginseng extract, and eleuthero root extract. Each plays a different role — B12 supports nerve and blood cell function, both ginsengs are traditional adaptogens that may support energy and cognitive function, royal jelly is a bee product with potential hormone-like effects, and eleuthero is another adaptogen sometimes called Siberian ginseng.
The capsules also contain inactive ingredients: gelatin, vegetable magnesium stearate, silica, eleuthero root powder, and microcrystalline cellulose — these are fillers and binders that hold the formula together.

Moderate evidence
The evidence for each ingredient varies. Vitamin B12 is effective for treating B12 deficiency and certain rare conditions; it's possibly effective for canker sores and nerve pain from shingles (postherpetic neuralgia).
Panax ginseng, American ginseng, and eleuthero are all possibly effective for certain uses — Panax ginseng for erectile dysfunction, sexual arousal, and cognitive function; American ginseng for upper respiratory tract infections; and eleuthero for genital herpes — but the evidence is not yet strong. Royal jelly is possibly effective for menopausal symptoms but possibly ineffective for hay fever and physical performance.

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Vitamin B12 is generally well tolerated and is safe at normal doses in pregnancy and while breastfeeding — it's actually needed during these times. The ginseng extracts and eleuthero are generally well tolerated short-term in healthy adults, but long-term safety data are limited.
Both Panax ginseng and American ginseng carry a caution flag for pregnancy and should be avoided while breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data. Eleuthero should also be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Royal jelly is generally well tolerated but can trigger serious allergic reactions — including anaphylaxis, asthma, and rarely death — in people with a history of asthma or atopy (allergic tendency). It should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Common side effects reported with ginseng use include insomnia, headache, and gastrointestinal upset; eleuthero may cause nervousness, diarrhea, or increased blood pressure in some people.

They may increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) if you take insulin or diabetes medications, and both can interfere with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), older antidepressants that carry strict dietary rules.
Panax ginseng may also affect how your liver clears midazolam (a sedative), drugs metabolized by the CYP2D6 enzyme pathway, the water pill furosemide, selegiline (a Parkinson's medication), and raltegravir (an HIV drug). American ginseng may interfere with immunosuppressant medications.
Eleuthero root extract interacts with several enzyme pathways — CYP1A2, CYP2C9, and CYP2D6 substrates — and may increase bleeding risk with anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs, interfere with immunosuppressants, add to diabetes drug effects, and raise digoxin (a heart medication) levels.
Royal jelly may lower blood pressure when combined with blood pressure medications and may increase bleeding risk with warfarin. Vitamin B12 has one documented interaction: metformin, used for type 2 diabetes, may lower your B12 levels over time.

Ginseng Blend Complex
Warfarin (Coumadin)
American ginseng seems to decrease the effectiveness of warfarin therapy.
Healthy patients receiving warfarin 5 mg daily, who also take American ginseng 1 gram twice daily, seem to have a significantly reduced international normalized ratio (INR).
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, taking American ginseng with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
American ginseng seems to lower postprandial blood glucose. Theoretically, concomitant use with antidiabetes drugs might enhance blood glucose lowering effects and possibly cause hypoglycemia.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, American ginseng use might interfere with immunosuppressive therapy.
American ginseng seems to stimulate immune function. Theoretically, American ginseng might decrease the effectiveness of immunosuppressant drugs.
Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (Maois)
Theoretically, American ginseng can interfere with MAOI therapy.
There is one case report of insomnia, headache, and tremors when an unspecified ginseng product was used with phenelzine (Nardil), an MAOI. There is also one case report of hypomania when an unspecified ginseng product was used with phenelzine. Theoretically, American ginseng may interfere with MAOI therapy.
Royal Jelly
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, royal jelly might increase the risk of hypotension when taken with antihypertensive drugs.
Animal research suggests that royal jelly might lower blood pressure.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Royal jelly might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with warfarin.
In one case, an 87-year-old male who was previously stabilized on warfarin developed hematuria and was found to have an INR of 7.29 after taking a royal jelly supplement for one week.
Vitamin B12
Metformin (Glucophage)
Metformin, a common medication used to manage type 2 diabetes, has been associated with lower vitamin B12 levels in some individuals. Prolonged use of metformin can interfere with the absorption of B12 in the digestive system, potentially leading to a deficiency in this essential vitamin.
