Formula |
- Support body detoxification pathways and nitric oxide production
L-Citrulline is an amino acid used by the body to enhance nitric oxide production and reduce ammonia levels. Ammonia is a toxic byproduct of protein metabolism which decreases performance.
- L-Citrulline works with the Amino Acids Arginine and Ornithine
L-Citrulline works in tandem with Arginine and Ornithine to help rid the body of ammonia. L-Citrulline also provides a readily available substrate for arginine production, which is used for the production of nitric oxide. L-Citrulline is an important intermediate in the urea cycle.
