The evidence we hold shows zeaxanthin is possibly effective for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a condition affecting central vision as you age. For age-related cognitive decline, Alzheimer disease, asthma, breast cancer, and bronchopulmonary dysplasia, the evidence is insufficient to rate whether it works.
