What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Mood Probiotic against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Mood Probiotic by InnovixLabs
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Mood Probiotic contains 2 active probiotic strains: Bifidobacterium longum Rosell-175 and Lactobacillus helveticus Rosell-52 ND. These are live microorganisms believed to support gut health.
The product also includes inactive ingredients — potato starch, a vegetarian capsule, and magnesium stearate — which serve as fillers and capsule material.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for both Bifidobacterium longum and Lactobacillus helveticus is limited. For Bifidobacterium longum, we have insufficient reliable evidence to rate its use for age-related cognitive decline, hay fever, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, generalized anxiety disorder, asthma, or athletic performance.
For Lactobacillus helveticus, the same picture holds — insufficient evidence to rate it for hay fever, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, cognitive function, depression, rotaviral diarrhea, or exercise-induced respiratory infections. In short, the data we hold doesn't establish effectiveness for the conditions this product may target.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Both strains are generally well tolerated in healthy people, but caution is needed if you're seriously ill or immune-compromised — talk with your doctor first. Safety data are limited overall, so use this product only with your doctor's guidance.
Rare side effects from Bifidobacterium longum have included abdominal discomfort, pain, distension, flatulence, constipation, and one reported case of a dry cough. There is a small concern that Lactobacillus helveticus preparations could theoretically cause infection in some patients, though most reported cases of bacteremia or sepsis appear linked to bacteria moving from other sites in the body.
Rare cases of serious infection (Bifidobacterium bacteremia or sepsis) have been documented in critically ill infants and premature infants. For pregnancy and breastfeeding, Bifidobacterium longum is rated possibly safe, but limited safety data exist for Lactobacillus helveticus — check with your doctor or pharmacist before using while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking Mood Probiotic, double-check your antibiotic medications with your doctor or pharmacist. Antibiotics can reduce the effectiveness of the live organisms in this product, so your healthcare provider will likely recommend taking them at separate times of day.

Formulation
New Discovery in Probiotic Science New research shows there may be a connection between gut health and mood. Probiotic bacteria in the gut can influence the function and behavior of the brain. This is called the 'gut-brain axis.'
Clinical research has shown that the unique probiotic blend used in InnovixLabs Mood Probiotic may help you: Cope better in stressful situations. Ease digestive discomfort associated with stress. Support positive mood and emotional wellness. Individual results may vary due to the severity of imbalance in gut bacteria, consistency of product use, or if causes are unrelated to gut health. Scientists have identified at least three mechanisms that may help explain the beneficial effect of probiotics on mood and emotions. 1. Probiotics can help reduce establishment of bad bacteria in gut. 2. Probiotics can help support healthy cytokine balance. 3. Probiotics can help support healthy communication with nervous system.
Does Not Contain: Eggs, corn, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat/gluten, sugar, GMO, yeast, Chinese ingredients, artificial colors, or flavors.
